Azula- Everybody’s Fool

Posted July 28, 2010 by admin in Discover | 25 comments

EDIT: Thank you to everyone who answered my survey. I admit I was too lazy to count them all, but I know for sure that A won by a landslide. If I have nothing else to do one day, I may count them up and post results. ——————————————— My computer went bizerk on me when I was almost finished and I had to do a bunch of things over. It ended up without credits because I was afraid adding more data would crash it again, sorry. This song is too perfect for Azula and I had lots of fun with the “falling apart” theme. =) I know there are already too many Azula vids with this song but w/e, here’s the BentPaperClip version. Enjoy. WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY! Thank you. Song: Everybody’s Fool by Evanescence “Avatar: The Last Airbender” belongs to Mike and Bryan and Viacom.

  1. man i wish they showed Azula before the end of the last episode… .its ok i guess tho we will always love her

  2. @Dillestman He was still alive. It wouldn’t make sense if she became fire lord and he was nothing. And if he died she probably would of became it or that title wouldn’t exist and she’d be fire lord. Either way it doesn’t really matter. And how does the fact that she’s not a guy come into play? He never said that or even hinted it. And Azula was crazy a long time before he did that. That was in, like, the last episode.
Who played the bigger part is just an opinion, nothing more.

    Cool!!!!!!

@Kass1964 Yes she was born crazy which was one of her few flaws. But tell me this, If your dad created a rank even higher than Firelord and didn’t make you heir to that rank wouldn’t you think something’s wrong? If he really approved of her why didn’t he make her heir to the Phoenix King? That right there said “You can handle some things but you’ll never be good enough to take on the real responsibilities.” Ozai basically didn’t approve of her because she wasn’t a guy. Ersa played a smaller role

@Aangified1 yup azula was so focused on trying to get the fire lord’s approval . if she opened her eyes like zuko she could have been good . she bends blue fire that is something unique .

  6. @Dillestman I think he approved of her. He just wanted so much from her and she didn’t want to let him down because she thinks he’s the only parent that cares about her. She thinks her mum hates her. Which I think has a bigger affect or effect… I don’t really know the difference. And I think she was born crazy. You see even when she was young she was mean and evil. And maybe if she was in a different environment she could of turned out better, but that didn’t really happen.

@Kass1964 she may have been haunted by her mom. But one of the only things she wanted that she couldn’t have was her father’s approval. He may have been impressed with her skills, and her treachery, but she suffered from not having Ozai’s approval.

  8. @Dillestman I think her mother made her suffer the most.

Azula’s story was a sad story told. She was like a diamond, a rare one, gleaming and beautiful. But like a diamond she had faults, and those faults caused her to crack at the end (biggest one being the mental abuse she suffered from her father) and like a dimaond she couldn’t really be repaired. Such a waste of such a talented human being…

@rainnysmith She needs help. She’s lost. Broken. Seeing someone she hates.

It’s amazing how, right in the final episode, you realize just how victimized Azula really is.
